Job Overview
Major Logistics is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Shunter to join operations at our client’s site in Leeds. This is a key role supporting efficient yard and loading bay movements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Placing empty trailers onto loading bay doors at the start of the shift
Moving full trailers off doors once loading is complete
Replacing full trailers with empty units as required
Ensuring all movements are carried out safely and in line with site procedures
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience (new passers will also be considered)
CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
Good understanding of yard safety and shunting procedures
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Pay & Benefits
£16.36 per hour (PAYE)
